In Ermelo at the performance test Scandic scored a 9 for his trot and a 9.5 for his canter thereby making his marks the highest of his year. Scandic has a very original, forthcoming pedigree, not from within the KWPN breeding. His sire, Solos Carex performs at the highest dressage level and his dam, Noraline is an elite sport-mare. Her sire is the Swedish bred Amiral, who was a valuable steadfast member of the Swedish dressage team ridden by Kyra Kyrklund. Amongst other successes, they qualified for the WEG Rome 1998 and the Sydney Olympics 2000. Granddam Joline is by the thoroughbred Trakehner, Michelango out of Eljenhove, an elite preferent mare by the Amor son Akteur. Eljenohve is also dam of the jumping star Luidam. What a performance line! After winning the stallion competition for two years Scandic was competing at ZZ-Zwaar level with Annemiek van der Vorm. Afther a nice period with her he went to Patrick Kittel. He is a Swedisch rider based in Germany. He did start Scandic allready in the youngster Grand Prix. He won his firts Grand Prix start in Mannheim with 72.55 %. This was 3% more then the number 2 in the class.
In Holland his first approved son is named Zambuka. He is out a v.Biotop mare. Zambuka was reserve champion at the Pavo Cup for 4 years old in august 2008
